I am not a chef, but I need to build a cake for an ingame wedding. I have all these wonderful pieces of aircake, but I can't figure out how to rotate them to create a nice round layer. Do any of you know how to do it? Thank you so much for your help!

Target the pieces and use /rotate left __
Insert the number, in degrees, you'd like to rotate the pieces. You can also use /rotate right.
The typical increments are 45, 90, and 180 degrees of rotation, but you'll find that the single increments will be helpful in making that cake.
Good luck...it took me at least half an hour just to get one tier of a wedding cake finished! Lol.

I've done two of those so far - one in my shop as the demo, and then 1 for a customer.
The first cake took me 45 min to get all the pieces together, The second took 10min
It may be best if you set up a set of 'move macros' - go to a tool pane that you dont use and make a series of macros for moving and rotating things.
ones I have
move forward 50
move forward 10
move forward 1
move up 10
move up 1
rotate right 1
rotate left 1
rotate right 10
rotate left 10

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! I got the cake made, it turned out great! I made a three layer cake and two 2-layer cakes on either side of it. Topped each cake with vegeparsine (Ikeer on Naritus showed me that. Thank you Ikeer for all your help!!!) I discovered that if i had each piece perfectly centered on screen in first person, i could rotate 45/90/135/180, adjust my position to center the piece again, then move forward 10 to make a nearly perfect circle
It took many many tries and re-dos, and i was about to give up on it till i made that nice little discovery!
I didn't have to do any /move forward 1 kinds of things at all
It went really quickly after that.
