For all that are wondering why foods are increasing when pulling from a crate heres why
Inspiration Buff
get a inspiration buff, pull food from crate, inbcrease by 20% with a few excemptions
steak, doesnt work here
brandy or anything with more than one + all the 20% on all stats all pile up on the first mod ie
brandy in crate
+196
+200
+50
pulled with buff
+409
+200
+50
all the increase is going right into the first mod only
working right
melee def food in crate
+80
pulled form crate with buff
+102
thak in crate
+40
pulled with inspiration buff
+49
Sent in ticket to CSR asking if this was fromthe inspration buff and was it working as intended, all i got for a response was this:
and then the ussual stuff at the bottem

That can't be right. I saw the same increase in stats last week when I checked some converted crates, and I'm almost positive I didn't have an inspiration buff. Are you seeing different numbers if you pull the items out of the crate without the inspiration?
My theory was that pre-CU crates got a bug where the experimentation and tissue bonuses weren't displaying right, but pulling an item "recalculates" the values, so the pulled item shows the correct stats. Since experimentation and tissues only effect the first stat listed, that's why those were the only ones that changed.
I've got some factory runs of Thundercloud and Vegeparsine finishing up, I'll play around with pre-CU and post-CU stuff tonight.

Well, that's got to be one of the stupider things I've seen. Why should a player's inspiration have any effect on manufactured items they pull out of a crate? I'm not saying I don't believe you, but that's got to be a bug.
Is this converted stuff crafted before the CU, or new crates?

I did it without a buff, and my brandy went from +196 to +430 health regen, my ahirsa went from +96 to +200 without any buffs.
Yesterday i did the same with my synststeak, and the stats all changed to higher ones, without the buffs.

I pulled my vercupti out of the crates to see if it'd affect the stats, and it did - sans inspiration buff.
It's not the buff. As Sciguy said, it seems that there's a recalculation that goes on when foods are pulled. It also happens when you split the crate into smaller crates.

Thankful for this - how I've sold most of my Pre-CU stuff - split it into a crate of 24, then put it all on a vendor that says "examine for real stats". Worked out great. Not that it wouldn't be nice not to have to go through that hassle but guess can't complain.

Thanks for the new info. Was helpful, but because of this new info I had to do another restock.. Oh the joy.
Went and took most of the food out of its crate to see if the stats has change and due to wonderfully buggy coding, it did.
Now not only are the stats on my food different then what I have listed them as thanks to the CU conversion, it seem that the stats on the crate is also incorrect.
It was a few wonderful hour spent splitting my crates into smaller onesand putting up a sign warning my customers to check stats on the crate before purchasing.
