Thread: NEW Chef wondering how to make crates of items

Ok, i bought a food/chemical factory thinking this was the right one i needed for crating items. I was told to get get a food/medical factory, is this acurate? Also i have food/chemical crafting tools, is this right? Wondering because after i placed my factory down, i wanted to make crates of alcohol for canape i believe...anyways it said i didnt have a schematic for that factory...any advice and help would be greatly appreciated....thanks

You need to be infront of a Food and Chemical crafting station. You use your crafting tool. At the end you will get a selection to make a schematic, choose that. It will give you the schematic you need to use in your factory.

canape doesn't take any alcohol... you'll need dough and carbosyrup for canape.
but yes, you do have the right factory, you're just going to need to use a crafting station as well. when you create the dough, take the option "Create Draft Schematic" and it'll put a schem for dough in your datapad. then load the schematic into the factory, load the wheat you used to make the dough schematic into the input hopper and start it up.

ok, thats what i was looking for, but no schematic option appeared, but i was always trying yesterday when flurry was going through its hiccups...that might be why. But its good to know that i ws trying the right thing with correct factory and crafting tools. Now i wont have to go waste time trying to find something that i dont need....thanks
