With my artisan experimentation points I can create better food buffs using Domestic line recipees than I can with novice chef recipees! This just doesn't make any sense! You want me to craft HOW MANY wastril breads that NO ONE will use???

I have been complaining about this one since I became a novice chef

Wow, kinda refreshing....it's been weeks since I've seen a novice chef anger post.
Recently it's all about the master chef anger post ![]()

I don't play a chef in the game, but i've seen the "don't bring a knife to a gunfight" argument so many times i've got to throw a bit of applicable RL info in here...
As a RL novice chef, i have access to all sorts of recipies, notebooks full of recipies in addition to a bookcase full of cookbooks. Tiramitsu, thousands of pestos, chicken cordon bleu...
But nothing beats a good pizza or a grilled cheese sandwich!

This post is a bit misleading. When you first start out in the Chef line, it is true that many foods from your Artisan Domestic Arts line are better than what you can make at, for instance, Entrees I, Desserts I or Mixology I. However, that changes as you go up the chain. By the time you are making level III and IV foods with all of your boxes filled out in the Cooking (Experimentation) lines, you start to abandon most of the Domestic Arts-line foods, with a couple of exceptions. Bofa treats still make good, cheap pet food, and Teltier Noodles seem to sell pretty well even in comparison with higher-level foods, largely due to the price.

Thats true Marty, but I think he is specifically refering to the Novice Chef box. I know all of us said "**edit**" when we got to novice and saw what crap it was.

You're **edit** right I said "**edit**". The next thing I did was unlearn the useless proff.

gee thanks man...
but you know i love these boards, and i'm gonna love it even more in the near future with the holocroners in here bitching. makes me laugh. maybe being a chef has brought out the sadist in me... i dunno.
but back to the original post, same thing for weaponsmith AND armorsmith.
