please help on this one. I need a macro for chef. im talking w/ 8 crafting tools and the rest. I want to be able to hit this macro and let all else do it for me. Im talking the whooooooooooooooole thing from beginning to last. Im am on my desparate last breath to stay w/ chef. but all has failed me. I need this macro. One that works. one w/ no flaws. one used by any of u. Please I need this. If u could just type out the whole macro u use for chef for grinding, i will be eternally greatful. please. another thing is that i dont know how to find schematic number so i dont know how to select the schematic i want to craft. plus i am completely unable to do this myself and no one will help me. thanks

Cant be done. Not without third party software at least.

And even if i knew how to write a macro to automate chef experience i certainly wouldnt tell you. Im also a Master Musician and enteratiners have suffered enough to the afk macro without spreading it to chef.

and if you had bothered to look 3 threads down from the top there is a thread about what CAN be done with macros to cut down on clicks.

I personally don't believe in Macro's, why even bother??

All the clicking was absolutely horrible, but itmakes me feel alot better, and proud of reaching Master.

Cya later. Ain't gonna happen. If you really want to be a chef, why would you want to macro? I smell another holocron. Even if there was a macro, I doubt you would get any sympathy from anyone around here. We've all paid our dues and are not about to let anyone have an easy way out.

I have a macro, I use them. I hate carpal tunnel. But I alsodon't approve of powergaming, handsfree macros, which is essentially what "godlike" is asking for. It's not particularly difficult to raise XP in this game any way, dancing/music being an exception (and there it's difficult by virtue of being time consuming.) As others have said, godlike, read a bit further, do some searches but don't expect people who actually made a Chef to be - a Chef - to simply hand you a tool to do it in XX hours.

I really think this guy is really just looking for flames instead of macros.

Of course, he could be this genuinely cheap and shallow, especially if he is ruled by the holocron.

*sigh* I expect the holocron to post more threads exactly like this in the future.

OK I have programed a perl script that could do all the point and click and stuff... I ran it once or twice... did it help get me any farther... NO... why cause I was grinding the same stupid thing and that is no fun. Not to mention always having to verify all the windows were in the right place... Talk about annoying...

Now I do admit I did at the begining macro harvesting... But now that Harvesters are fixed and working better then sampling I don't... Now some of you may say well he is a master chef who cheated his was up... Nope sorry... Not a master chef... hell I am still a Novice Chef... and I ahve been playing since day 1...

So all I can say to the person who wants a macro to do the work for them... If you want it so bad learn to program. I highly doubt anyone is willing to give you code or anything...
