I am grinding for BH now. i have made 1500 creds off chef since that last patch came out that bugged food buffs. a few incapped customers were not happy and really chewed me out. so chef sucks horribly now. BH should get me more money. Good luck to you all. see ya

Good luck and maybe check out chefs some point in the future...hopefully there will be some improvements.

Well if you ever decide to get back into it let me know, I'll be happy to retrain everything for ya. Rather than blowing credits on that rip off NPC who never says thank you for the thousands of credits I spend on them.

I'm going smuggler/politician (I thought they were always one and the same tbh ), however, I shall still haunt this backwater of the forums, as I will be doing the Chef part of a friends new char, that will be Master Architect/Weaponsmith/Chef, so all is not lost.

wow, when a corespondant says can't really blame you...you know this is bad. Don't worry all the BH who get holocrons will take your place as they master chef.

I dropped my Chef Master Title aswell two nights ago. Even after reading that dev post that stated they were "aware" of the problem I couldn't find any hope that they will fix us anytime soon. And if I knew they would fix us within the next 2 months I would have done the same - I am playing this game right now. And I want to have fun right now.
With the current state of the chef profession I could not find the fun anymore that I once had with it. I have been master chef for about 3 months. I picked the profession because it was rare and I wanted to be able to provide buffs. When I started as a chef I knew that the profession was in a bad shape. But I was pretty sure that we would see some fixes soon and that after some weeks and months we would finally reach the state we were supposed to have. Unfortunately that has not happened. And after various occasions where they fixed one bug for us but introduced another one that was even worse I finally decided not to mess with this profession any longer. It still was a hard decision because I really liked the roleplaying part of this profession. Like serving on weddings and stuff.
The last patch just was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Even before the big "bad" patch that introduced the bug that made stats to mess up about 80% of my sales were Angarian Fishak Surprise and BoH. Sorry, but I am not willing to play a profession that has a repertoire of about 120 products just to do the same 2 products over and over again. This is not fun - even if it gives good cash.

I now started a doctor to finally be able to provide the good buffs that I always wanted to be able to provide. Good luck to you other chefs. I really hope you will be fixed one day.

if they don't fix us by the next patch i quit chef

i told myself i'd make a million credits and then quit, but screw that bro.. i'm not waiting till next year for them to fix us

If they wait till the next patch to fix it...then that means a whole month went by and stats were broke..when they worked prior to the patch....not a good sign. Not good at all.
