Thread: base components
Question.
Does the quality matter for the end result of a food/drink?
like use junk to make dough, but use top class meat and lubri oil to make vercupti
or do the base comps also have to be high qual and fully experimented?
That about sums it up. No one could tell you with absolute certainty if and how much components effect the final combine. Hopefully that will change very soon.
I swear to you upon my holy +14.95 effectiveness Food/Chem crafting tool that once-upon-a-time components displayed stats. No really, they did! You could see that a carbosyrup and dough were giving +4 to +10 to all the stats for about 4-5s, which shows up in all those little buffs on Air Cake along with its main action buff. Experimenting on the dough and carbo and using good resources made those little numbers become slightly less little.
Unfortunately, by the time I had made it up into Chef, those displayed stats were gone, so there's no hard numbers as to how (or if) the effectiveness goes up with higher-level components.
Or maybe it was all a hallucination...
