So I was reading the major chef changes supposedly coming down the pipe soon..and I was wondering if you guys feel that these changes are major enough to hold off on entering the chef business until they're completed. Some have expressed worry that their high end resources and such will become worthless or that the changes are so drastic that we will have to completely change how we prepare and conduct business. How worried should I be? Should I hold off on building up the resource stock and such until I see the changes? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Up to you really, if you are getting kinda bored with chef you may want to quit just because I doubt any changes will make it that exciting, however if you still like chef then stick with it and look forward to the changes.

I doubt very much that the resource requirements will be changing that much. Some will, but most won't. But that is just a guess, I don't know one way or another.

Yeah, we will have to probably change how we prepare and conduct business. Probably won't be a bad thing after a little adjustment time.

My advice...build up on resource stock. If it turns out that you won't be using it, you can always sell it.

Fair enough. Thanks for the input.

Saitek - I'm not considering quitting..just whether I should start stocking and enter the market now or wait until after the changes.

I'm facing the same dillema. I'm getting many requests for foods now that I'm almost a master, but I'm soooo concerned that I'll get it on my vendor and then a week later (when the vendor is half full) the change will come in and my stuff will be worthless.... (or at least comparativly worthless).

It's a tough decision... I'm personally doing very small runs. I'll keep my master and be ready to go when the changes hit.

Anything you will make now will not change. If you make tattooine sunburn now, once that patch goes in it will have the same effect as it does now. Anything you create after the patch will have the new stats.

Of course, youcould start stock piling up on your best stuff...who knows, it may end up being more valuable than what is coming.
