I'm not sure exactly what i did differently this time, but my Fishak came out as 10 charges per stack instead of 5. The buff dropped by 9 points over last time, but its probably still a better value. I think I put my exp points during the aludium phase into the nutrition bar. Seems to have a drastic effect.

are you sure you didn't put it into the Quantity bar? Usually if stack size is all someone is looking for I dump it into the quantity bar and end up with like 15 to 16 stack size.

My Fishaks have turned out way better if I do quantity on the Aludiums and then buff on the final product. I don't think BE components or components themselves are included into the final product experimentation. i.e. let's say Aludiums give a +50 to the mind. So +100 to the final product, but when you experiment on the final product and get a +50% to buff, the Aludiums still only give +50. I say this because I made some advanced mind buff BE additives(+89 to mind) and stuck them in some Bivoli. Based on the buff on a non-BE-enhanced Bivoli, the BE enhanced one only added the +89 to the final product.

Yes, thats right, i meant quantity bar when experimenting on the aludiums. On the final product, i put max into the buff. Final stats were plus 509 750s 10/stack as opposed to my last run witch was plus 518 814s 5/stack.
My belief normally is to try to make the highest possible quality buff and duration. However, looking at how these numbers came out, it seems that there was only a minor hit on the buff and duration in this case and a drastic increase in the stack size.
Which do you think is a better product?

yea I would too...but you know its funny...people are so different. I had a guy the other day that wanted fishak over 580. The current run I had on hand (I ran out of my best fruit *cries*) was 579...he didnt want it. 2 points was that much of a difference to him. So, no matter what you do, there are gonna be customers that want something else and those that like what you do.

I think my current Angerian runs are stacks of 10 to 11 buff size of 570 or so with no negative modifier and in some cases its now positive. I have to go back and check as I am not logged on right now to check. So I guess I would have to say that it may be more efficient to do the aludium run with quantity and then put the buff points into the actual Angerian run.

Correct. I'm hoping if this is a bug it will be fixed. There is really no reason to make advanced mind additives(Systemic Cognitive Enhancers if I'm not mistaken) right now if they will only add +80ish mind(and half that to the secondary/tertiary stats) to the final product. It takes 75 units of meat for EACH enhancement, so a full run of BE enhanced Glazed Pate would be 10K domestic meat for the final product, and 25K domesticated meat, 25K wild meat, and 25K meat for the BE enhancers. I don't know about you guys, but it's such a pain to get domesticated meat right now I would be able to make more crates/profit just making normal crates :/. If the buff were added into the base buff BEFORE experimentation of the final product, it would make a huge difference. Bivoli with +89 enhancement could get up into the +500 mind range.

Sure wish i could get the results you do Saitek. Not sure if i just haven't been able to get ahold of the super top notch ingrediants or if you have extra experimentation points than i do, but 518 was the best i could get out of it(using the last of the Otoo reactive gas i had stashed away) with all great successes of all my exp points into the buff. This last batch was made with Glooki gas which isn't nearly as good as the Otoo, but is what seems to be up right now.

It could be resources, I track resources alot, right now the domesticated rice and wild oats on naboo are good right now, I have 300k of the rice so far.
I usually track the resources on Tatooine, Naboo, and Corellia. The last shift of fruits of Coriella was really good.
I also am maxed out on experimentation points, and have another 10 skill tapes stashed away, I've been collecting them since the game started.
Also, you probably already do, but make sure you have really good crafting stations and crafting tools, it will up your success rates.
