With the chef revamp nearing completion and it being almost ready to go on TC, i was wondering, what happens to all the per patched food.

Will it get changed with the new buffs or will it have the old stats and be pretty useless after we start making all this new good stuff.

If we have a load of old stock on vendors should we start to run it down in preperation for the patch

I believe Sir Vimes stated somewhere that the patch is not retroactive.

I think it was in SirVime's "Happy holidays" sticky, but I remember seeing that food crafted pre-patch will remain the same. This might not be bad, since they may turn out to be better in some way than what's coming down the pipe. The new foods may focus on mind heals (Aitha) rather than mind buffs, so things like Angerian that give a bonus to the full pool (allowing you to go over your normal max) may be even more in demand. They'll definitely be different, though.

I'd wait to hear the TC reports on the available buffs before tearing down all your factories. Of course, that's just me.

Man, I just realized I'm may have to learn a whole new set of answers for "what buffs statX"...

I would imagine it would stay the same, just as harvs stayed the same (or got waaay bugged) and FWG5s as two examples. I might actually not expect all of our old food/drink to be "worthless." It seems our new stuff is getting away from simply buffing the HAM bars and secondary stats, but some people may still want that because they're used to it or it just works for them. I would imagine many of the better sellers now might still be in demand post-patch. I know I'm going to try and make quite a bit of whatever I can so I can really have a wide variety available. It should be very interesting though. We all know what happened to pre-nerf Krayt FWG5s...

You also said TC patch was going to come out this week. Did that happen?
