I bet you someone's going to say this sometime in the future.
If not, it's only because a person didn't get his head handed to him by a cook in pvp.
BTW, IMO, PVP sucks. Hooray for acronyms!
There already is at least one guy on the Wanderhome fourms that argues for Chef Nerfs.
In responce to the second poster i dont feel that food is better than spice in either its currant form or the new stuff it just is for a differant thing. Spice is far superior for when you see that your pool X is running low in PVP jsut dpwn the appropriat spice for a instant buff that bypasses the combat Q unlike foods that you must clear out your predesignated actions to use it often costing you the fight cause 2 seconds are wasted eating and useing autoshot which is useless cause of the minisule damage and the lack of status effects.
What i use food for now and will most likly continue to use it for is per-fight prep to reduce ham costs so i can actualy use specials with a carbine/rifle/2hSword/Pike
Thats why that supper nice looking Blue milk will not be as effective as I had first hoped when i looked at it ![]()
Soypro at novice gives more xp than wastril bread did (using less resources). At Deserts I you get Paste bread, which almost exactly mirrors the old Ithorian Mist grind (substitiute oats for corn) and uses half as many resources. It doesn't matter if most of the new recipes require subcombines (and most do), since you only need one good recipe to grind all the way to master.
Personally, I think the clicks currently necessary to master are excessive, but the resource requirements are not. Instead of 4x xp I'd rather see the gamewide-standard 2x xp and an early recipe intentionally designed to consume a large number of generic resources. How about "6 foot loaf of bread" (a subcombine for a 6' hoagie!) that consumes, say, 200 wheat?
