Dear Bio Engineer Canditate,

After review of your Master qualifications, we have decided to extend you an offer to join us as VP of Mad Science and Unholy Animal Experimentation.

The parameteres under which we orignally discussed this position have changed. Rather than a straight salary, we would like to offer you Crazy Fat Bank to purchase from you every __dd___d thing that you can make, and a s__tload of it, too. Benefits will still include a two week vacation sometime next year, and the knowledge that your work is going towards the irradication of the Che Gueverra wannabes that plague our beloved Empire.

We believe that with addition of your Frightening and Wicked Experimentations we stand on the verge of Unrestrained Prosperity.

Sincerly,

Herodotus Befishburger

What might be a good idea is gather up all the resources for the enhancements then take a sample to a MBE and have them make you a schematic. It is what I do for all the different things I need that I can not make myself. Requires little effort on their part, usually get the schematic for free or maybe buy them a drink (BEs love mind buffs) and you don't pay for anything more than the resources. I will say this is a pain to do at times, either the person isn't around or are hard to track down. So have them make you several schematics at once to last you a good amount of time.

Personally, it makes me uncomfortable when people ask me for schematics. We've seen some icky stuff happen as a result of that. Due to that, Im not really willing to ask someone for schematics unless its someone Ive really developed a good relationship with ...and even then Im hesitant about it...they spent time and money getting there too..and havent really been a viable profess for very long themselves.

In any case, chefs without BE help are going to be poor chefs.

I've got two guildmates interested in going BE, already, so problem may be solved.

I'm gonna have to dissagree with this one.. after looking at the requirements for the BE additives.. the chances of getting it in large quantities is going to be tough.. I think a chef that can crank out top notch normal food by the crate loads will make way more cash than a chef selling, expensive yes, BE food. Plus the majority of BE 'meat' requirement will be competing with CM's and Doc's to harvest or buy at a great cost quantities of these materials. I think the BE stuff is greatbut Isee it more as a low volume high priced niche market for hard core PVP'ers or the idle rich.

My 2 cents,

I agree with Sinison. I'm a MBE and the additives (currently on live) for chef food are really resource intensive. Using BE additives would more than double the cost of a single chef food. However, my alt is going to be a master chef, so I plan to still crank out the additives myself and sell them in my "gourmet" vendor. The gourmet vendor would be purely high-end food purchasable by the rich folk. I'll also have non-BE enhanced foods for the regular working stiffs.
