Thread: Price of milk?

Sorry to bug you guys, but I already did a search and came up with nada from post-Patch. I know server economy varies, but what would you guys think is typically fair for milk (in comparison for other, more common, in-demand chef resources)? Just trying to get a feel for the new! (lol) resource.
(I know milk isn't a new resource, but having it abailable in quantity certainly is new!)

I offer 20cpu all the time for it and rarely get a responce. Stats I barely care about. I would probably go higher if I knew the person would bring me a sizable stack each week. Noone seems to harvest it or sell it on Tempest though.

On the bazaar (Kettemoor), I've seen milk priced anywhere from 2cpu to 1500cpu (yes, I couldn't make it up, some guy had a dozen 'stacks' of 2 milk priced at 3000 credits). But 10-20 seems more common. Anything 10cpu and down on the bazaar, maybe up to 12cpu for big stacks, I snap up, regardless of stats. Doing it that way netted me a bounty hunter willing to drop milk off on my vendor once a week at 10cpu and a pinch of free food. He was originally selling at 7cpu, but I thought that was a bit low - he told me he'd talked to a dozen chefs but no one was interested in a deal, boggle! A master scout shows up and offers cheap scout resources delivered to your door and you turn it down? Hehe.

I just bought 10k of very good qual milk for 22cpu. 2 stats were 900+, 1 was 800, and the 4th was 300+.

I have a master ranger on Radiant who would start collecting milk for contract. Send an email to Adara if there are any radiant chefs looking.

I've had a hard time getting anyone to get it for me, have bought fair size quantities off the bazaar at 20 cpu.
I'm not really sure why its so expensive though except its boring to collect. I went to dantooine and harvestered 5k units in under hour off pickett missions. I assume a ranger could do much better than that.
I guess there really isn't a newbiegroup in need of cash who will collect it to earn money.

I know a ranger on Starsider. His name is Trei. He sells milk at a reasonable price (a lot less than 20cpu!). I'm not gonna quote a price. Thats for him to decide.
