Dear Master Chef i have a Conundrum that maybe you can help me with. I want to do some Vasarian Brandy and i have:
2 Alcohol Component (No experimentation)
1 Drink Container (No experimentation) - Barrel
1 Medium Additive (86 nutrient)
20 Dantooine Berrie (DR 849, FL 135, PE 670, OQ 793)
20 Lokian Fruit (DR 680, FL 207, PE 911, OQ 994)
This gives me a base experimentation of:
Quantity: 6
Filling: 48
Mind: +314, 32 min
focus: +314, 32 min
willpower: +314, 32 min
Then with the 10 experimentation points:
8 points are used to increase the power to +410
2 points are used to increase quantity to 7
The final result is: +410 power, 32 minutes and 7 uses.
The question is:
Why do i have so low of a quantity, when normally I see that other chefs Vasarian Brandy have 18 uses. Which tissues additive should I use does the Broad-Spectrum no the correct one. Should I use the Multisaccharide Tetramate as a medium additive.
Even using berries and fruit with DR of 900+ and OQ and PE of 800+. Putting all of the experimentation points into Quantity I can only get it to 10.
So doing my math only with DR, OQ and PE of 1000 I can reach 18-20 uses.
Can someone help me with this problems. How can I get a good Vasarian Brandy of Pwr over 400 and quantity 18.
Thanks,
d'Pox

You get 18 uses from a cask, a barrel should give you more, but right now they are bugged

Right now, the buggy barrels give the same number of doses as small glasses.
With a large glass you'd get 1.5x as many, or 10 doses (ok, 10.5, but it gets rounded down).
With a cask you'd get 3x as many, or 21 doses.

IMO, lower the buff and increase the duration. I know Ive preached over and over on these boards but I find it important to beat the digestion time. Increase the duration to at least 40-45 minutes so you can take 2 brandies consecutively. But again it is your brandy
. The buff is nice, but dont be afraid to increase the duration for a smaller buff.

You are right in so many ways PSKstang. The problem is the average consumer is dumb. They go to your store and see +380, 45 minutes, 18 charges. They go next door and see +440, 30 minutes, 21 charges and think to themselves, "Big good, me buy bigger stuff, ungg, now go smash". So the chef making the inferior product will make the money, while the educated consumer will buy from you (but thats like 2% of the population...)

You are totally right, and sometimes I prefer to sell to the educated consumer. AndIm always glad to hear someone send me a /tell with "so glad you experimented up that duration, it lasts forever." Eventually the word gets around and most people will become educated. But I feel like the golden rule for chef imo is "though must beat digestion, and honor thy duration." I think I'll put that in my sig

I would look for some other berries, the PE and FL are too low to really get what you need. You can afford to drop the OQ and DR some if you need to, but an increase in the PE and FL will get you the 45 minutes and a 400+ buff.
