One of my characters is only 1-0-3-3 chef and made a bio-enhanced spiced tea last night that was +80 to mind for 32 minutes, and was 8 filling. Meaning that I could take about 12 of those.
Meaning, +960 to mind for 32 minutes. Filling runs lower, so I could actually get it alot higher then that. Lets Say it takes roughtly 20 minutes to get halfway empty, so... I could drink even more tea bringing it up to lets say +1200. Add that ontop of some dancer / musician buffs, and some muon, you'll be ungodly.

BE enhanced brandy easily offers 700-900 mind, willpower, focus. Not saying that tea is worthless, but I asked alot of customers what they would prefer and they chose the brandy. Also brandy has the convenience of only needing to drink two as opposed to twelve. Try making a run of 5 or so crates and see how it sells.

My idea is to have it equally distributed with my brandy. Have decent brandy to match the capability of the spice tea, then fill yourself with the tea, so it adds on more.
/shrug.
experiments experiments....
Plus you can add spice tea when ever your drink starts going down, to keep adding to the buff, so when the brandy goes out, you're basically still there
again... more experiments need to be done on my side.

I look at it like...maybe Brandy only gives you +800 mind, but it also gives you +800 willpower and focus. Spiced Tea only buffs the mind. That said, I do try tokeep a fairly large stock of spiced tea on my vendor for when I run out of Brandy, since it still sells regularly (maybe some of the folks in my town prefer the cheap stuff
).

Looks like the glass ceiling with BE stuff has come true. Brandy isn't Brandy unless it's super BE enhanced. No one wants regular Brandy anymore, so startup chefs are screwed if they don't have a BE friend.

Yeah I sell non-BE brandy all the time. Some people don't want to spend over 100k on one crate of food.

You are mistaken. I made 2 mil on unenhanced brandy last week, but I also made about 2 more on enhanced. I'm not fly-by-night. I've been a chef since well, release, and I also sell a good chunk of other stuff.
Helps to have a good, strong customer base of 6 months or more. (Think my list is around 300 folks)

If I were the customer, i wouldn't, no. I sell these crates at 75k and people buy. At 250+k, i don't think so. Even if they would, i wouldn't charge that high, but thats me. I also sell my BE version for 150k though, even though i know some people would pay alot more for it.. Personally, just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should is how i feel about it.
