Yeah this was really disheartening when I was out surveying to had over 200 unsuccessful auction emails sent to me over a period of 30 minutes.

If you have enough flexible skill points, you may want to try something else for awhile and then come back to Chef after all the issues have been (mostly) addressed.

I'm sorry to say its become the same for me. I log in, spend 30 min restocking my vendors, and log out. I'm not giving up the skills, but I cant stand to play anymore untill they fix this stuff.

well retired is not canceled account (at least for me)...

i have a 2box and i thought that having a 2box with more .. well active skills (smuggler/commando) would help me pass by the time until they put some fixes on chef (which is my DESIRED class).... but after finding out that they have an even bigger problem (no content at all) if now retire for some time from swg.

as co-leader of an guild that came from huge EQ and AO guilds i had to see more and more friends leave because .. well, the older MMORPGs just had more content. This is surely because SWG is a new and still buggy game to some degree, but all in all it just comes old to be the last man standing (and waiting for patches) when friends tell you "Hey, they added xyz to abc and we had a raid on xyz" and you.. well .. just wait for fixes...

ill be reading these forums in the future and hope that SWG will use its potential.

I had more fun in every other mmrpg besides SWG , Shadowbane was even more fun to me..

Basicly I log on a get some pet food out of the factories then log out.

I don't know why I dont cancle the game.. I have Comando to flamethrower 4 Grenadeer

I have to say that PvE is just as borring as chef in this game and PvP is just a lamer fest with TEF kills

Basicly its they kill you

you runn back with TEF (meaning they cant attack you but you can attack them) kill them then they run back with TEF and kill you and then your run back do the same .. this continues for a few hours till someone decides its goten borrring.

sorry to see you go

Is it just me or are we seeing more goodbye posts than hello posts lately? I even almost miss the "I just spent all week getting to novice, and did anyone realize that we suck?"

I just spent 2 weeks getting to novice chef, does anyone realize we suck?

Seriously, this is so distressing. I love crafting. I carefully read all (hah) the information in the game guide and chose what I wanted to be. I get laughed at by everyone I meet for wanting to be something so worthless as a chef. I still want to make food, so I do. Then the stacks bug (it takes over 4 weeks to smash ONE profession-killing bug??). Then the factory "improvement". Sorry, but spending all of my gametime to supply harvesters to get the materials to make items no one wants, or that will sell for less than my cost - how exactly is this fun?

I played EQ. I crafted in EQ. By comparison the potential this game has for a crafter is so fantastic, and the execution is so utterly **expletive deleted**, I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or hurl my keyboard through the nearest window.

I am going to focus on my wee scout soon to be CH now, and rescue all those orphan paralope I made while trying to gather resources. When I get tired of that, and the visual glory of the game pales, I will leave the game. I play Sony games on Sony equipment - but this may well be the end of all that.

Thanks for reading - and if anyone knows of a game where crafter-types are supported rather than ignored, would love to know what game(s).

I prefer it how the crafters are the ONLY crafters, rather than in EQ where anyone who's everyone could be a chef... or a tailor...

However, agreed, if only things were different... *sighs*

But I'm not gonna give up.. hehe.. its pointless, its crazy... but there are a few of us willing to be that crazy...! wOoT!
