Thread: Assistance with the crafting tools...

Searched the top few threads, didnt find anything on this, so I came asking for help...


I went out with my friend to watch them 'battle the enemies' while I cooked up some appropriate treats for the group we were joining. About mid way though the onslaught, a rather odd set of events happened. something along the lines of...


'Please wait while your current pototype is being placed into your hopper (inventory.. whatever)' .... 'You cannot cancel the crafting session while you are fighting'


I didn't get it, and from that moment on, ALL 5 of my crafting tools have become invalid, saying that I 'Failed to start crafting session'. I can trade the general crafting tool to others, and it works. But not with me.. and this is the one that is given at the beginning (I still dont know why I didn't craft myself a better one...)


Anyways, is this a bug? and has anyone else experienced it? How do I solve this problem? I've only been told that they're lost and gone forever... hopefully they'll be working today..

they're lost ... known bug ... no workaround, no eta on fix...

My crafting tools do this on a regular basis esp when I grind, (maybe only when I grind). All I do is log off and on and it fixes the problem.

The other possibility is that there is a bug with all crafting tools where you get stuck in crafting mode. Re-logging should fix it, or there's a command to cancel the crafting. It's either /stopcrafting or /cancelcrafting.

it's /cancelcraftingsession and it fixes it

ok, i will try all of the above, in high hopes that all 5 can be restored =), if not.. could anyone craft me a general crafting tool? i have the resources.. LoL =\

I usually use /createPrototype practice no item
