Thread: 9000 people can't be wrong, yet City Expansion > Chefs
Anyone see the polls?
44% of almost 18,000 said their number 1 priority is getting classes fixed.
Only 24% said new content.
In light of this, why is the Chef developer working on the city expansion more than Chef?
Please ask them SirVimes, I would really like to know, and I'm sure you would too.
And if the answer is they want to get new content into the game before they fix classes. Wow, thats dumb, and wow they are ignoring their customers. I really want to know who the retard in charge is, I could run this game better than they have so far and I have no experiance at all.
Chef affects 12 people who are insane.
The sad fact is, that in any game, the smallest group of people get fixed last - just look at Cabalist on DAoC - until people realised they could solo 40 yellow mobs at once using their pet & AE DoT, nothing was ever fixed, as soon as the developers realised, were they fixed ? No, they were nerfed
Chef is the new Cabalist
its not 12 people who are insane...
everyone suffers from this
"Hey MR. Bounty Hunter .. awesome buffs that blow your mind or .. um a player city ... what do you want ?"
Lol, I love it when people say stuff like that. Get a clue buddy, just making that comment proves you have NFC what your talking about.

I tend to disagree.
I dont want to see ANY new content with bugs like broken food lasting over a month, when scouts get an un-nerf hotfix in less than 7 days.
Bugs > New Content PERIOD.
I don't care about the balancing act and the frills chef needs. I am merely speaking of the broken food. It's been OVER A MONTH.
The way that bugs are prioritized by the SWG teammake me angry.
1. If a bug only affects 5% of your playerbase, but it's so bad that it's pointless for them to even play, THEY SHOULD GET BUG FIX PRIORITY OVER ANY NEW FEATURE PERIOD.
2. If a bug only affects 5% of your playerbase, and the bug is a play-stopper, then you have an annoying bug that affects 25% of your playerbase, but has a feasible use, the 5% SHOULD GET PRIORITY.
I always go back to the fast food business.
If McDonalds was selling burgers with bad cheese that made people vomit (isnt that all of thier burgers?)to 25% of thier customers, but were KILLING 5% of thier customers with bad fish. YOU BET they will fix theproblem that was killing people first. Otherwise, they get sued even more, people start spilling coffee, etc.
If they kept ignoring 5%, 5%, 5%.....they only have to ignoreeach 5%20 times to kill all of thier customers eventually they will all try the fish. (or the company would go bankrupt from paying lawsuits)
Fixing bugs should be priority over ANY game stopping bug, and game stopping bugs should have priority over less detrimental bugs.
PERIOD. Now, disagree with that, and I won't know what's wrong with you.
I certainly don't disagree with the statement that chefs (and perhaps other professions) need fixing before the addition of new content. However, the reason that it's a priority to finish player cities (and mounts) is that Holocronand crew cut them during beta and promised that they would be the priority for the entire team. Until they get them into the game, they are diverting resources from the expansion and live team.
I think that they will use the poll for future projects, not ones currently in production. Sorry. ![]()

However, there was a gentleman on the official EQ boards that was permanetly banned for nearly the exact same comment. Be careful making comments like that, even in jest. (especially post 9-11)
