OK, can the chef controll how many times a food item can be used before the user gets full through expermentation? In other words, can the chef make food be 'less filling' so that the user can stack more of the same food item for a bigger buff? If so how?

ALSO... can someone give me a good way to price out my items? I started with a 12 credits per unit of resource used in the items... but now that I can make Tat. Sunburns, that would cost 30K for a crate, which I think nobody would buy. Is there a general formula to use for pricing food items?

Only thing I can think of is to start pricing at different CPUs until you find a constant seller. However I think 12 CPU is rather high. I usually sell my stuff between 6-8 CPU if the stuff is in demand and lower if it is not. If it sells too quickly then you should raise prices, if it does not sell enough then lower prices.

Good Luck.

Use the guide at the top of the page...its been incredibly valuable to me. I personally sell my burns are 300 crd/chg and 250 crd/chg when crated. A crate is generally 37,500 and I sell them fairly well. One thing to keep in mind when trying to figure an appropriate price, its generally easier to drop your price than to raise it. If you started at 35000 and no one bought them, you could always lower your price and people would only be happy about it. If you started at 20k and sold out very fast and couldnt keep up with demand, raising your price would make some people not happy. If I doubt the value of something I put up for sale, I trust in the guide at the top of the page to be about right. Ill put it up for that amount as a starting point and adjust if I need to. There were a few items I priced higher than the guide and a few I priced lower than the guide but overall, it was right on target for me.

The filling can be experimented, but it's really tough to tell how well you're doing because the only way to test it is to see how many you can eat on an empty stomach. If you check the experimentable categories in the schematic, there's "Filling" underneath "Flavor and Texture". Ignore the 33/33/33 percentages the lying schematic claims, this is based 100% on UT. Experimenting on F&T reduces the amount that the food fills you. I was able to experiment synthsteaks to the point where I could eat three at a time, instead of 2. I think the crossover point was about 28% F&T. Unfortunately, that's the only food I could find where I could experiment to an additional dose.

As for your pricing, I've sold my sunburns for 1200 per stack (+1820, 420s, stack of 4), which crated works out to 30k. They don't fly off the shelves quite as much as they used to, more people are relying on doctors for health/action stat buffs and are looking for Mind enhancers.

I charge 35k a crate for my sunburns (albeit Master with 11 exp points) and they sell just fine. Hell put em up for 30k and see if they sell.

Sleksheea, I noticed you are on lowca...

Tat sunburns can indeed for 30K. you will see some people going lower and some people going higher...

I was a bit higher for a time but I am lowering...i think about 30K is about right.

You can ask some of the other chefs in lowca for their guides as well...Jerecki, Fel (no longer a chef but still able to make suggestions), Issirxo, Koor, myself, Fonzi....

I sell them for 25-35k as well. Depends solely on uses as to whether they are 25k or 35k. They are not huge sellers (lots of competition), but I sell 10-20 crates a week conservatively speaking.
