Thread: Not getting any xp? :(

I just made novice chef on Sunday. I'm not a hologrinder or a get-rich quick schemer, I just like the idea and I have been going slowly but surely. Well, I've made a ton of food since Sunday and noticed that I have all of 320 xp. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is it just a bug? Thanks for any input.

I suppose you did tons of food from the domestic arts line of artisan, which yields general crafting xp.

When I was going up chef occassionaly i would get no exp
. When it happened, I would wait til the next day to work my way up the chef tree. Like the last poster said, make sure you are making chef foods, not artisian foods (make only those foods you get at novice chef). If you are novice, make "soypro" they give 80 xp and when you eat it you get 40 xp (filling = 0).

I forgot to mention, If you are using a macro make sure you are not standing next to a food and chemical crafting station. It adds another step to the crafting process and you wont get any exp.
