How much will you Chefs be charging for food? I plan on buying alot to stay buffed nearly all of the time as that will make a very large difference in combat but I'm worried about having enough money to do so. Will you charge a set amount for food or will it be different based on amount of resources used / effectiveness of the given food.

Also, can chefs make food in stacks yet? I remember they were previously unable to do so and it's very ineffective/cumbersome to carry around multiple stacks of 1 food. It would be nice to be able to buy a stack of 500 of one type of food for a large amount of credits and continue to buff yourself with that for a long time. It would also takeup alot less inventory space which is very important since our limit is now 60 items as opposed to 100.

yes it will depend on resources and effectiveness.

chefs will be able to make food in stacks. hand made items wield 5-8 i believe and if you want a bigger stack, youll have to wait until the chef gets a factory. only factory-made food will stack in larger amounts since effectiveness and quality differs.

hey that was me...lol

well i was in the cantina on naboo in theed a lot of the beta when i got into domestic arts 2 and 3...i never ended up having the time to play enough to get to master chef and unfortunately i ended up moving in the last two weeks and not having internet...none the less i don't mind giving it away free in beta but if i were doing that in the game now it would ruin the player economy...hence i will base my price on resources and buffs......oh yeah and also on how much other people are selling it for...

Factory's were producing old style food as of last 2 days of beta. So a food item from a factory crate had no charges. A crate was only 25 items, 2.5x the charges of an experimented piece of food. Add to that the cost of a factory, the cost of running a factory, the travel time to a factory, the requirement that resources be precisely the same, and you realize Factory Food, as of the end of beta, is not worth the time and effort.

I would almost rather see us be able to sell containers of food items, maybe 5-10 items in the bazaar. You could sell Drunken Sailor meals and fill them with Corellian Ale and Almond-Kwevu Crisps, or Surveying Supplies, and give them 10 canisters of Aitha

I think 4x(# of resources) is a good baseline.

For example Exo-protien wafers cost 15 resources. They boost constitution AND willpower -- which means eating that increases your regeneration for strength and mind. And certainly that is worth 60cr for a stack of 5?

That's around what I charge for food if I've expirimented on it, if I just whip it up, I usually go with 3x resources. In beta I tried to go with 10x complexity, but no one whated to pay for the upper level foods.
