Thread: Is Havla working correctly?

I've been marketing this alongside my Bivoli, since it's cheap to make and should enable the Docs to get morevalue out of the Bivoli in the time it lasts.

However, I've just received a mail from a customer saying that, while they're very happy with the Bivoli, the Havla doesn't appear to make any difference

Has anyone conducted any testing on this? I'm assuming the Doc is using it for buffing, rather than healing. I don't know any Master Docs myself, so I can't run any tests on it personally

In the meantime, I think I'm gonna take it off my vendor, just to be safe... but if anyone can confirm that it is working as intended, I will simply offer the customer his money back and continue to sell.

Dont think havla increases wound treatment recovery

So are you saying you think it's broken too, or that I'm misinterpreting the intended effect?

The stated benefit for the food is:

"Reduces the player's heal recovery time"

And I believe there was a thread a few days back, where someone suggested it even worked on CMs throwing poison, since that was treated as a 'medical' action?

wacky, I tested it with buffs and the doc said there was no speed increase. I havent tested with stims though. This was BE enhanced stuff too so the doc shoulda noticed if it did work.

Well, that's what I heard from my customer too, so I guess I'll stop marketing it

Just seems weird that Bivoli would work for buffs, and Havla wouldn't

Buffs are wound speed, not heal speed. That's why master docs are faster than those that just go up the medicine use line.

OK, thanks all - fortunately, I'd only sold it to a couple of people, so it's not too hard to get them refunds

I do have reports of it making no difference AT ALL, though - even to healing? Does anyone know for sure one way or the other if this stuff is broken?

I've tried using enhanced and plain havla on myself and it does not reduce the time it takes for me to use another stim. Since it doesn't seem to speed up buffs or work for combat medics either, I guess it's fair to say this one is broken A real shame, because if it worked I'd eat this constantly.

As is my understanding, it isn't supposed to decrease the delay between heals or buffs. I thought it was supposed to reduce the time it takes you to heal aka your secondary stats (con, sta, will). I have tested this myself, and after a couple fights I'll sit down to rest and I will see an increased recovery, I don't have any medic skills so it is helpful. Though it doesn't list any improvement to any stats, so it might just be my imagination. Getting an official word on this would be nice. I've been wondering about it for awhile. If it does work as I suspect, adding the boost to the recovery stats would be a nice addition. And also a clarification on the duration of the buff, meaning when does 1 healing decrease period being? As I suspect it works, it just speeds up your recovery for an hour, because this decreased recovery for X times never kicks in.

I assumed that it worked the same way you did Giz:
- Allows the user's stats to heal faster than they would without the food.

But I haven't been able to test. I was confused reading the first few posts as I didn't think the food was intended to work that way.

I've received GREAT feedback on Bivoli however.
