Thread: FOOD STATS
Ummm this is from memory.
Didnt use any BE componants, looking forward to doing so.
Thakitillo, +39.5 to KD for about just under 10 minutes, 1 charge with a filling of 42 (I think)
Breath of Heaven, +45032 minutes or something like that, filling of 636 charges, made in a cask
Breath of Heaven, +370 something, 32 or something with a filling of about 55, 6 charges made in a cask.
Veghash, +16.5 to creature harvesting, 12m 45s, filling of 13 or 17, cant remember, 6 charges.
Also made a blue milk and vasarian brandy, but cannot remember the stats at all.
You'll need to scroll to the right to see the category percentages. In general, Filling is 25%OQ/75%DR, Flavor is 66%Flavor/33%OQ, Nutrition is 66%PE/33%OQ and quantity is 25%DR/75%PE. A few recipes are different, though (ones with hide and bone tend to have SR show up) so make sure to double check for whatver you're actually crafting.
That data was gathered from the experimental percentages in the schematic, you can see them in-game by checking the lower-right corner of the crafting window in the item selection or resource selection screens.

- Bigger buff size (determined by experimenting on Nutrition) will always sell.
- Depending on the food's "rollover" points with the quantity percentages, it's generally useful to spend a point or two in that. For example, with good fruits and berries Vasarian Brandy starts around 20% in the nutrition category. The point where it goes from 6 to 7 doses (when using small glasses) is at 25%, so spending a single point there makes a good difference, even more so when using casks (which would mean you jump from 18 to 21 doses). You can get a rough estimate of the rollover points by subtracting the max and min quantity ranges, and dividing that into 100. There are a few weird ones though; BoH goes from 1 to 2 doses at 20, and 2 to 3 doses at 60.
- If filling starts out close to a rollover point (like 51 or 34 before experimentation) that's also a good place to drop a point or two. Many customers like to stack the same food, being able to stack an additional dose makes the effective buff higher.
- If you can get the duration = 45m * filling / 100, then a customer can keep that buff on constantly. So afood with 15m duration and a 33 fillingcan be re-applied immediately after it wears off, and that reapplication can be done constantly without worrying about becoming full. If we ever find out whether the current 45m digestion period is a bug (the publish 6 patch notes said 30m) then this would be even easier to achieve.
For most foods I tend to put a point or two in filling and quantity, five or six in nutrition, and the rest in duration.
