I was wondering how in the world people get 18 uses per drink of brandy and... what's a trim? I'm guessing it may have something to do with casks, but I dunno how to make those.

trim takes 20 fiberplast and 5 units of inert petro chem. A tailor makes this (like said above)
A cask takes two identicletrim and 150 crystalline gemstone to make.
I max out casks at 21 uses btw

The base numbers for drinks are based on using small glasses, for example a non-experimented brandy usually starts at 6 doses. A large glass gives 1.5x that (rounded down), so an unexperimented brandy would give 9 doses. A cask gives 3x the number of doses, so the brandy would come out in stacks of 18.
Just FYI, you only need to experiment the quantity up to 25% to get a 7th dose with small glasses (giving 21 if made with a cask) so if your quantity category comes out in the high teens after initial assembly, its usually worth it to spend a point there to get the additional dose (or three).

cask brandy defaults at 18 uses (3 is the modifier for the cask, and the brandy defaults at 6 uses - multiply the two together and voila!!). Usually with 1 or 2 points, you can bump that to 21.
LOL 3 minutes...
