currently i can make +23.xxx for 13+ mins 3 quantity and 28 filling. PE for meat and fungi totals around 1900, oq 1500. DR and FL 1200 and 1000. should i just stick it at 2 quantity and work on duration and filling?

I'm assuming it capps at +23.xxx make sure you get it to as close to +23.00 as you can. The system rounds all fractions of a number down so any points spent between .01 and .99 are wasted. Stick with quantity over duration and filling. 3 uses gives more fexablity then time and 3x10 minutesworks out better then 2x12 ( or so ) odds are you won't be able to get it to 15 minutes fro the same number of points you'd need to get an extra use. Filling isn't really an issue unless they want to use havla aswell.

No better try to get 3 charges instead 1 or 2 minutes longer duration.

Filling is also not really worth experimenting on, 28% filling empty in 12 minutes 36 seconds. So the stomach is already empty once the Doc wants the next shot of Bivoli (unless he also fills his stomach with Havla or something else, but then 2% filling on Bivoli won't help him much either).

Lets see... 3 charges of 13 minutes lats for 39 minutes. if you only have 2 charges, you would have to get it up to 19.5 minutes to last as long, or make it cheaper... And i doubt you can reach that time...

If you could get +25 and 2 charges (I highly doubt you get +25/3 with 10 points) that might be worth another run. Sell 23/3 and 25/2 for the same prices and see what sells better

First off, +23.xx at 3 uses for a fairly new chef is excellent work. So kudos on that one.

Right now, at least on Starsider, what everyone wants is +25 / 3 use. This is not hard to make, but I agree with Ikooga that it will probably require having the extra two points.

Having said that, Doctors will buy +23.xx stuff if it is priced to move, and +23 bivoli will still give docs with decent buff packs buffs that are well over 2200. Not sure what it is like in your galaxy, but pretty much people dont complain to Docs unless their buffs are under 2000. So I would say there is definitely a market for the +23 bivoli if it is priced correctly.

The three use stuff is the better value, but Ikooga is right....you never know what people will rather buy. There is no harm in stocking both.

Just keep playing with it, and be on the lookout for good meat. We got really lucky on Starsider the last couple weeks.......we have had three back to back shifts of spectacular carnivore meat. I think Docs on SS will be up to their ears in quality bivoli for several weeks thanks to that.

When I experiment on Bivoli, I first see how high I can get the nutrition in whole numbers. +25 is excellent, +24 is good, +23 will sell. Depending on how good your additives are, you usually need 2-3 points for each integer increase.

Then I try to hit 3 uses. Unless I've got some really good DR/PE resources for a good starting quantity percentage, I usually have to pick between +25/ 2 uses and +24/ 3 uses. I'm onlya 10 point chef, with another point or two, I could probably get +25 / 3 uses with the resource quality I tend to get.

If I happen to have any points left, I'll stick them in duration, but other than that I usually leave it at the initial value.

The best thing to do for the meat is to check swgcraft.com for a good spawn of Dath carnivore meat. Since Rancors drop carnivore, and a lot of people go on rancor hunts, this type tends to show up for sale in pretty good stack sizes.
