I tag all my food with my name my brandy is called Vasher's Brandy +*** **min **sec Filling ** Naboo -4750, 3350
If it is taken to be resold then the person can see where my shop is and they will know where to find it next time.... also putting th price on it is realy good too with the WP to your main vendor so people know wher to go to get more.....
I droped the WP part after a while as i can stock way faster then anyone can buy..13 factorys really helps

I rarely seen food being resold. The best you can do really is just charge enough for it so it isn't too profitable to resell it.

I disagree with the idea that resellers should be stopped - they are partaking in a common RL business practice in-game.
I have a standard format for the naming of all my foods which includes the stats and my name. A lot of the server already know of 1 of my 4 locations, but I do still have resellers and I encourage them to resell my goods. I sell to them at 1k off my normal sales price per crate of 25 and require 20 crates minimum per item they buy in order to get the discount. I ask all resellers to stock at the same prices I stock at and work to check that they are selling at my prices. I enjoy the instant sale I make from resellers that want to carry 2-3 of my foods, I like getting my name out that much more, and I think it's a good business model for folks that want to carry massive quantities of a wide variety of goods. It's also flattering that they wish to carry my food over all the other chefs on the server.
Resellers are easy to spot - they buy massive quantities of your foods. When you find them send them a mail and ask if they'd mind sending orders to you directly instead of buying out your vendor. Once you have them not buying out your vendor, they are doing you a service, not damage and should be encouraged. My $.02.

I have people that resell my food and I have always put my logo CBI on my foods.
They bring me money by buying my foods, make money by reselling them, and spread my food/popularity by doing so.
I get nothing but joy from people buying my stuff to resell.

Isn't reselling the same thing as a grocery store? Some days I'd rather have someone give me resources and craft providing them with a lower price and me with less of a headache of determining prices. Get a small cut of the end deal and smack! your good.

The thing is that in those types of cases, both the buyer (re-seller) and seller agree, and the seller supplies the buyer with many products for cheaper. In this case, they are buying your products and selling them for profits.

well i just started chef but i can see reselling all things a good idea. One wayis to have someonethat isyour guild merchant have a vendor or vendors near the guild hall and go out and buy up everything they think thier guild will need and resell it there if they make a profit so be it but cutting even is just as good and the guild will be happier in the long run because they don't have to hunt or track anything down...
