The stats for these two crafting foods seems to have been modified in the CU.
is there any more info about this?

Well, Groid's posted a mostly complete list of food/drink stats with tissues. It looks like the bonus for Cake has maybe increased a little and Port has increased a lot (+23 experimentation bonus vs. the 12 we see on Live now).
The other difference I've noticed is that instead of lasting 60m if you don't use the effect, on TC they only last 20m. Since you are almost always eating/drinking these just before crafting, I don't think it's that big of a deal.
