Hah... I haven't gotten any orders like that, but dang... I would tell people who asked for 30 crates to suck it... no one even has enough storage space to handle that anyway!!!

I thought I was so cool, having enough crated subcomponants to make 4 crates of just about anything anyone would want.

Then a guy comes around asking for 10 Ryschate, 10 Sunburn, and 10 Ormachek crates. This guy wasnt bad at all, offered me a nice sum for using up all my good reactive gas on himand understood the wait.

But the next 3 bozos..

the first asked for 5000 sunburns, the next balked atmy time estimatefor bulk orders, and proceeded to bitch at me that it shouldnt take so long, "It's only food!!!"and the next guy.. lets just say I wanted to drop my pet Bantha on him/her/it

Teras Kasi Addicts seem to know the usefulness of food and drink.

5000 Tatooine Sunburns. HA! I think that would take about 15 days of non-stop factory work to make. Nevermind the time needed for components or the time needed to gather all the materials.

But I am running 1000 Starshine Suprises right now. I should be ready to deliver lots of crates of Sunburns by, ohh,next week.

Man I wish someone would ask me for 5,000 sunburns, thats a million credits . I have 6 factorys on call..... now if I could just find that much gas......

Wait.... I mean that would be 8 million.....

Hmm. Now that I think about it, maybe there is a chef issue that needs to be looked at.

If our top end items have the same complexity of a weapon or something it will take the same amount of time for a factory to make. Except we are expected to deliver hundreds of these items at once. OOF!

nah.. you would not want that job. Trust me. I am -still- working on the alcohol run for the Ryshcate. its been churning since 11:00pm last night. Id hate to see how long the Tat sunburns, Ryshcate, and Ormachektake. Oy

Theres TONS of reactive gas on Flurry (Naboo) right now - I have harv'd about 20k of 945OQ stuff and some 919OQ just popped in the day before yesterday..

Most of the custom orders I do are for stuff that I know will appeal to the masses heh. So I give the orderer a certain amount of time to pick it up (while we're both online) and if they don't I just stick it on my vendor. 9 times outta 10 they won't come and someone else will get it after a few days.

Needless to say, I don't do many custom orders for people that aren't friends or past (reliable) customers

going to vent here, after the factory fix, customers need to learn a few things

1. Bulk orders (IE 10 crates of Ryshcate) take more than a few hours to make, and theyshouldnt get pissy when someone tells you this.

2. Bulk orders of 30 crates of Various foods with multiple sub componants will take more than 1 day. and they shouldnt get pissy

3. Bulk orders will not get you a 75% discount. be happy witha 10-25% discount, because bulk orders are a pain

4. There is NOT enough gas on any planet, enough time in a week, or enough creditsto make me do a 5000 sunburn order. *twitches*
