Last night I made some 1750 Felbar and fed it to my pet. I have a bio-engineered pet and his mind is low. Nothing happened. Sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search and it and found nothing.. Maybe I am doing something wrong. The pet was not fully grown.
Thx..

Did you use the "Feed" radial command, or did you drag and drop the food onto him? Doing "Feed" takes a food from your main inventory, this treats health/action wounds (right?) and can be anything, not just pet-specific foods. Doing the drag and drop method requires a pet type food, and that's what gives the HAM bonus.
I've also noticed a problem with pets trained as a mount. If you give them a pet food (or stim to heal damage), the HAM bars don't update until you give them a command. I usually use the "column" or "wedge" commands (he's getting less responsive to "f"), and this updates the bars.

You do have to drag and drop the pet foods to get the buff. Sweesonberry Rolls work well too.

Yep, my bad it does work... I like Felbar because Im a master doc and can buff everthing else but mind by 2400. My Non-Ch pet has 9000+ Health 5600+ action but only 3200 mind. Buffed he has almost 5000 mind, 11400 health and 8000 action. Plus substats regen quickly. I nice companion for a MCH/MD..
BTW, I have a Chef as my second character just in case you wondered how that was possible...
