Thread: Just mixology???

I was thinking about going up the chef skill in just mixology. Can useful items be made by using this tree only? Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm completely new to this craft. Thanks in advance.

You will want the experimentation tree as well, or your drinks won't be very good. If you take experimentation, you can make pretty good brandy, although not the best.

If you mean mixology without cooking, I'd say no, unless you're simply trying to bartend at an RPish cantina. You pretty much can't live without the experimentation line, or your food will be horrible.
With Mix4 and Cooking4, and maybe some experimentation tapes to push your experimentation points up to master level, you'd be able to make the best drinks in the game (ignoring the master-level drinks, which are crappola).
However, I would point out that many chefs have experienced poor sales in all drinks but brandy, and make up for it by selling lots and lots of food (something's gotta go in that other bar). So in essence, you'd be becoming even more of a brandy chef than brandy chefs.
But can it be done? Heck yes.
(And I'm glad for it... I have a fondness for dabblers.)
