Thread: Needing some help and template ideas
Business III is a minimum requirement, unless you plan to do all your sales with the 25 item and 20k credit limits of the bazaar. Novice Merchant is a good option for the additional vendors / item limits. Depending on your sales volume, you may or may not need more (you get more from the "management" branch).
Some people like being as self-sufficient as they can with their subcomponents, so take up Tailor 0010 (for trim) and BE (either MBE or just 0404 to get all the food tissues except the heavy nutrient and heavy filling ones).
Personally, I never had a problem buying components from dedicated Tailors / BEs. But getting my hands on decent meat, milkand the occasional hide/bone (for a good price)was tougher. So with Master Chef and Merchant 0001, I also had Scout 2040 (for mask scent and hunting skills) and the rest of my points into a combat prof (which I switched around a few times depending on what I felt like using). With the CU, you may be better off going for a Master Elite prof and Scout 2000 and depend on the higher harvests from higher CL creatures.

Yes, I would have to agree Merchant would be important unless you want to set up a lemonade stand in Coronet and sell face to Face. DOH! LOL how did i forget that one?
roflma yea i got master merch and a tent and some extra vendors set up but was wondering if im able to maybe drop that and keep my vendors so i have xp enough to maybe get enough BE for my own tissues
Your best bet would be to go hereand download the character builder. Play around with it and you can see what you can do.
Master Chef is a must if you want to be a Chef. You may want 4400 artisan for artisan foods or you may want to go master to make things like vehicle repair kits and swoops to supplement while you get your Chef biz going. I made buffs back in the day to supplement.
You may want to try to incorporate Bio-Engineer into your template so you can make your own nutrients or Tailor 0010 so you can make your own trim for casks.
There is a lot of different avenues you can take. Use the character builder and find one that fits your play style.
I agree that a bit of scout in your template is handy. I have scout 3xxx as I have a few hunters who supply me with meats but never underestimate the value of Mask Scentand Burst Run with a bit of Terrain Negotiation - particularly when doing harvie runs on Dantooine etc.
