Thread: Master Chef has a newb question!

I should probably know this as a master chef, but unfortunately i don't! I see master chefs creating brandy with stats like +400 and over. I use all my experimentation points on the nutrition, and the leftovers on filling. I use very good quality resources, with 900+ OQ and PE. I use a +15 food/chem tool and use a private crafting station. I also wear a chef apron with +5 experimentation and assembly. However, i only can ever get my brandy to about +250, and thats with great success. I'd like to know if i need to do anything, or if im doing anythin wrong, that is preventing me from creating good brandy. Do i have to add food additives?, as i never do for brandy. Thanks

Without an additive, the best you can get is 240. {re-reads original post} Hey, how're you getting 250? Or is it actually coming outin the 220s or 230s and you just said 250?
Broad Spectrum Nutrients increase the buff size as a % of the unenhanced value. So with an 85 Nutrition bonus BSN (a run-of-the-mill value, 87 and 88s are top-end), a 230 buff Brandy would be 230 * 1.85 = 425.

Yes, i rounded up to +250. I usually get about +225. I will try with the additives. The reason i don't use them is because i dont really have any connections with a BE on my server. I will need to ask around

Yeah, Chilly doesn't have an overabundance of well-stocked BEs from what I've seen, but luckily I have one in my PA that's started filling some of my orders when he can find the resources.

Another suggestion...
As long as your brandy has 50 filling, do not waste exp points on it, because as far as I know you cannot make 33 fill brandy, so its useless anway. I usually try and go 400+ and then get 45 minutes on the brandy, that way when the user's brandy wares off...they may automatically take another. This is pretty important, because all of the hardcore hunters look for stuff like this, and they are the ones you make big bucks off of. Hope this helps.

Let me know when you get a BE tissues vendor set up and where it's at when you do Master BE.
