I have two choices so far for my first batch of Brandy
44m at 49 filling or 45m30s at 50 filling
Which is the better way to go and why? I'd appreciate the insight

I'd say duration since a minute of buff is better than one filling. I think most people tend to drink down two brandies and with only 2 filling left, there's nothing you can really drink left. Now if you had thosebrandy stats with the filling at 33, that would really be something.
However, that's not possible last I checked

27 sec = 1% fill. So filling on 2 49% brandies last 44m 6s, 2 50% brandys last 45m of course. You're 6 sec short on the 44m stuff, 30sec over on the 45.5m stuff.

Ok... then I think I will go with the following as my first batch of brandy ever
+407 / 45:30 / 50% / 18uses
Not bad I think, I'll need to find better resources to improve these stats.
