Last night I sat down and churned through 20k combat XP (thanks for the tip on lairs resetting if you leave them for a bit!) and today I finished off the 250 Apprenticeship XP I needed for Master Marksman.

Now I'm a Novice commando after creating the character on 18th. I know it's seriously gimped and such, but I've always had a passion for "useless/broken" things =)

Time to head out with my trust FPS reducer weapon and earn some HW XP. Now to just find a flamethrower!

This character is a lot more fun than my doctor is, but I sure do miss the heals and buffs.

good luck bro you're going to need it along with lots of patience!!!!! Just know that there are alot of us out there in the same boat and you're not alone in your suffering, lol...

I decided to go the route of acid rifle cause it was more available when i made novice commando and gave best dmg (although it sucked and still does)...not to mention it doesnt have limited amount of uses before you gotta buy another..the bad thing is it takes the most amount of xp to get to level with that weapon (175k xp just for level 1)...I've cranked and cranked and now got level 1 acid rifle w/the special shot....500 to over 1k per shot and no HAM cost...so hopefully it will help me now to crank out faster heavy weapon xp for additional skill levels....

Anyways I'm gonna be master CH with Flamethrower tree in commando.

Is it best to go up to management 3 first for 2 pets?

First get Taming/Training I for a GSP or Grand Wrix.

Then just use your pet while leveling your combat skills, and you'll get all the CH exp you need.

That's how I did it, anyway..

Go 1-1-0-0 then climb the management branch or at least up to 3 to call out two pets at the same time. It's a lot easier to grind with two pets out then one.

I'd say the hardest part was getting the amount of xp for Acid Rifle Tree.

(go up flame tree first) the field tactics tree... just get em as they come, but when you finnished everything but that tree... lob those grenades!

It's all cake baby. All 3 main trees are just heavy weapons xp, so you never have to bust anything out but the flamer. Just go up the flame tree first, flamesingle2 is awesome, then just pick a tree to go up next after that. It's not like BH where you need to use the specific weapon, so it's all gravy baby!

i just made novice chef just wondering what tree to go up and if weighted wookie pullovers is the way to go. btw atm i have not so many chef resources so a little help in what i need would help lots as this is my first crack at crafting i would like to do well.

i crafted soypro and protato to get master, takes longer but it requirers fewer resources
