Thread: 12 pt chef
You can get a total of 10pts by becoming a Master Chef. To gain the extra points you must have either clothes which add bonuses to food experimentation, or buy Clothing Attachments which offer experimentation points and drop them onto some clothes. Note that if you attach a CA to clothes which already have the same bonus, the highest value will override the other. I learned that the hard way. You can get your first +5 exp easily by buying a chef apron. These usually go for 200K-300K. I bought a +9 exp CA for only 2mil. Unfortunately, I did not know about the override and now I have an apron with +5 Assembly and +9 Exp.
25mil was the price I believe back in Publish 17. Now it's significantly lower. A point can be bought for maybe 100K-125K each.
Definately. Your foods willhave higher quality stats. Most wellknown chefs have all 12pts.
Join a guild and ask for a loan or investment, or buy the points overtime.
Thanks for the help![]()
So your saying to get an Apron. Then buy clothing attachments and just add them to something like maybe a Hat? Or some boots? I really don't know how clothing attachments work. Sorry for the newb questions. I just started a crafting character a few days ago and going from Master Bounty Hunter to Master Chef is a BIG difference
.
Thanks again!
Ok so I'm looking for +20 Food Experimentation. I checked the whole Bazaar and only found 3 +1 Food Experimentations so I have a feeling this is going to take awhile.
Do you know what drops these Food Experimentation Clothing Attachments?
Thanks again ![]()
The CAs come in various denominations; Zanti recently became a 12 point chef with a +7 CA he obtained in an auction for 3 million, and a +3 attachment he picked up for 300k, this on Ahazi. He was already a 11 point chef with his apron and a +5 CA obtained pre-CU by a guildie for 5 million. So the entire 20 points cost 8.3 million over time.
But since the CU, chef is not what it once was. Our foods have been nerfed, and made less desirable, as all buffs no longer have the power they once had. So, the value has declined.
