Thread: Filling vs. Effectiveness (for Mando Wine et al) What do you think??

Hey guys!!


I've stupidely have waited till now to start actively stocking Mando wine... I didn't realize that the stuff just FLIES off the shelves! Here's my question... with my current ingredients I am able to experiment it down to 50 fill at the expense of (of course) lower duration and effectiveness (although +400 health is I think still pretty good). It takes me like 7 points to get down to 50 fill... do you guys think I should just say "to hell with 50 fill" and max out the buff size/duration? My reason for shooting for 50 of course being the convenience of being able to take one directly afterwards... but is that not going to be most imporant to customers?


What do you all think? Between filling and effectiveness... what do you shoot for in a case like this?

that's your choice, people would like to do it right after each other, but if it lasts longer then they can't, maybe you should stock a load of different ones, so people eat 1 every 10 minutes say, selling them would be faster, because they eat them more often make more money...basically your choice



I really think those people with signatures that look like part of the post are really annoying, thats why I made this one.

I've made both +453/10:00/65 Fill and +370/8:48/50Fill. The 50 fill seems to sell much better regardless of the other stats. I have some +170/14:11/50 Fill cooking using the flavor tissues. Will let you know how that goes.

I make mine with a filling enhancer, its +186, 33 fill, 10.24 mins. Leaves lots of room for low fill ruby bliel and big insta stim heals. (i got 1495 power stim D). Soforget the +450 buff stuff. it looks nice, but when your stomaches full and your opponent can still pop ruby and insta heal between his normal heals you'll be wishing you hadn't drunk it.

I agree that Ruby Bliel is better than any food/drink with a health buff. Personally I have just put up my Mando wine by 75k a crate as it was selling way way too quick and it was a struggle to keep up. Plus I will need to start using resource crates for the WIld Rice as I haven't seen any decent stuff that I could use. Can't understand the fascination with Mando wine tbh.

I make some 51 fill, 9min30, 370 or so Mando wine. I can hit 50 fill, actually 49, but I don't think the 1 point of filling is worth it. I get another 28 seconds or so with that extra point.


I'm guess at the numbers above, but its pretty close. I do the same thing with BoH, best resources I can find get me to 51 fill with 7 point amazing, leaving 5 to boost the duration or power.


Either way this stuff does Fly off the shelf.

Just made up 2 new batches for a new vendor im setting up one low fill other high power. The lowfill is 49 fill 8 min dur with 42x str the High power is 65 fill 477 health with bout a 10 min dur. Im starting to think that hitting that 50 fill may be more important than the extra 50 health.

Hmmm.... well these are all interesting ideas! I was actuslly considering asking this question in the trade forums... but thern I pictured the outraged responses claiming it was the wrong forum, etc etc... But I'd really liketo get customer feedback on the idea without having to waste resources on an entire run of something that people are gonna stick their noses up at... I've already MADE a run of Vayerbok.... it's still on the shelves. lol!

This is not comming from a chef; however, I believe it can give you some feedback as to what the customer wants (atleast for my server). A chef asked what people would want more of on the trade forums...and here is the link

From what I can tell he is doing a different approach on efficancy vs. filling, and making some real low filling (39) with minimal health buffs along with the regular filling with nice health buffs. It looks like they are both wanted. I figured I would share this info so maybe you could try it out. Personally i went for the low filling.

After two days of having the new Mandalorian Wine on my vendor.....I have to claim the +370/50 Fill the winner. That's fine with me since the other is so costly and can use that milk in other places

I haven't bothered with a longer duration version of mando, but my 49 fill, +429 stuff seems to sell rather quickly. I was going to try getting an even higher buff without putting points into the filling, but I can't bring myself to do it and risk having it sit on the shelf forever, after all the work that goes into making the measley 13 crates.
