Chef Archive

That's odd. Hopefully we're allowed to make a general rant about a forum-specific profession board on the board itself. If not, I'm sure the CSR's will come knocking again.

For whatever reason, my lot trade thread was locked. I specifically used the chef forums because I was addressing chefs from ALL servers, and none in particular. Had I wanted a specific server to trade with, I would have posted on that server's trade forums, but again, I was looking for any chefs from any/all servers to respond, and then it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to post that on my OWN galaxy's trade forums.

I'm usually one of the first people to recommend that somebody take their advertisements to their own galaxy, but my request was applicable to all - EVERYWHERE. I'm all for people using their own trade forums, but let's be logical, reaching long standing chefs who frequent the chef board sort of requires actually posting ON the chef board for them to peruse, no?

Thank you all for the responses! I had no idea so many people were looking for lot trades. I've found 2 people to trade lots with, however if you'd like, I can post all of your names and contact information here in this post (since the other one was so kindly locked), or you all can post here with your info so that you can trade amongst yourselves, as everybody who replied obviously read through the post, understood the requirements and felt they fit them. To reiterate and avoid another locked thread, this is for INTERGALACTIC TRADING - not for specific server trades, which would then be posted on the appropriate trade forums.

I guess that means you filled your requirements before I contacted you in game email. That would explain the no response. Any other well established chefs out there interested?

Moderators take the stance that the topic is wrong for this thread. They own the forums. Deal with it.

OTOH, a smart person might send PMs to those that he recognizes as long-term chefs and not throw this in the face of moderators.
