ok im a new chef....im gonna be makin Bivoli...thakitillo..havala...vasarian brandy..synthasteak..and V canape
if i could get help on what stats on each are the ones to look for on different flora resources to look for or to get...ive got some but the stats make the time and power low....

Just look at your schematics and it will tell you what stats are important . Are you experimenting on the foods at all?

You can't use a heavy additive with brandy. You have to use a medium. You can use a light too, but I wouldn't bother. I believe the schematic will indicate which strength additive it takes.
Staying at 500 on all stats isn't very effective. For most foods, you want your resources to have a high PE and OQ, especially the PE. FL and DR isn't as important, though it never hurts to have high stats there.
If the flavor on one resource is low but high on another, one can make up for the other more or less. You can get away with that with FL and DR, but you really want your PE/OQ to be high on all resources.
I believe the FAQ above includes link to a calculator that will help you figure out the best combination of resources to use.
I know this all seems confusing at first. Don't get discouraged, it'll click before you know it. :-)

ya should i use a heavy?
this is whats confusing me....
say im makin brandy
Fruit.... DR 634 FL 200 PE 701 OQ 791
Berry DR 597 FL 729 PE 652 OQ 692
if the FL on the fruit is low and the berry is higher then 500 and thats from what i was told to stay about 500 on all stats
does it counteract? and make it ok to use?
this chef thing is confusing as heck
