Thread: Tissue/Container Question
I am not aware of any drinks that are not affected by casks. All of them will have 3x quantity if you use casks over small glasses. 1.5x for large vs small glasses. Since .5 drinks is useful, there would be a case if a drink had a base quanity of 1, then using a large glass on that would be useless since you would have 1.5 drinks total.
For tissues, it really matters on your resources. There are no foods that specifically are coded for lower additives. Everything has to deal with rounding.
There are only 2 exceptions to what I state below. Havla and Smugglers Delight. Havla offers no extra bonus over 100%. Same thing with smugglers although the last time I made it, 100% is bugged and 99% was preferred. I haven't tried it recently though as the demand for it is so low.
If you have something that is +6 with no additive. An 80% additive may make it +11. And in another case +6 might go to +10 and you need a 81 or 82% additive to hit +11.
Generally the lower the buff size, the lower in the additive you can go.Basically you just need to ask yourself whether or not thesmall extra buff size is worth the extra cost of the tissue to you. Even with Brandythe difference in a 85 and86 tissue is only going to be 2-3 points. How many times have you ever really needed an extra 5 points in your mind stats from adouble buff? Same thing goes with many of the defense foods. Is the the difference between +14 and +15 in some food worthwhile?
These are more personal preference than anything. If you must produce the best, then you need the best tissues. If you want to produce foods that will work 99% asgood for cheaper, then lower ones will work just fine.
Siymon wrote:Good info there. I had thought I read something somewhere that Bespin Port was one of them that the container did not matter. (It could have just been the difference between a large glass and a cask) As for foods the one that I had in my mind was (ahh, cant think of the name but starts with a V) and one of the componets is veghash and I was under the impression that the stats of the veghash had no affect on the final product.
True, the only subcomponents where the stats count is additives. So you wouldn't need a additive to use veghash as a subcomponent
