Into the game, not the profession. I lost all my money, resources, and clothing when I left, so it will be like a new start into the profession. Is it still worth it, has anything changed in the last 6 months or are we still the black sheep of the SWG family?
Edit - I don't care about the money, I'm just wondering if being a chef is still satisfying/worth playing the game as, not if I can still make a profit on it.

That all depends if you like crafting. If you liked it then yes, it will still be rewarding. If you left because you got fed up with people harrasing you , well, another profession might be in your future.

I have spent all of my time in game since launch crafting something (Architect, Artisan, Tailor, Chef, Shipwright). About November I decided I was burned out and closed down my shop because it wasn't fun...took a break from the game. Came back, evaluated what I had really enjoyed doing before and realized Chef was what I really loved the most. So now I'm gearing back up to be solely a chef in a big way. So far, I'm loving it.
If you don't care about the money, then all you have to ask yourself is did you enjoy it? Nothing has really changed with chef in 6 months that I can see, except maybe prices have dropped a bit on my own server.
