Thread: parwan post-cu

Before the CU I was making some 92-93%, 22filling parwan. Now the same exact recipe turns out to be 98%, 22filling. I believe before this stuff (at least with my resources) capped out the flavor at 100% recovery, but now I could get it up to as high as 106%. I used both and neither one of them had any "cool-down" period on the icon afterward. I didn't think to try any unenhanced or lower flavor stuff to see if there was any cool-down there, tho

So did anyone else experiment with this stuff yet? I'm kinda curious if it's just me

I made some that was 99% recovery and it works like a charm.... people love it.

I was making 101-102 before the CU, so it wasn't capped. Now I still make it at 100-101, and that's with using processed milk (200 stats) in the Additives.

No one noticed any change in the stats?

What's to notice? They changed slightly but still easy to get 100 recovery, which is really all that matters... still should have plenty of room to get it to 25 filling...

Because the timer starts as soon as you take the food, you dont even have to get to 100%. You will have to test for yourselves to get the magic number, but this can be a very good seller. At 25 fill you get 5 burst runs with no delay on an empty stomach. Can be a lifesaver for a grinding jedi.

It really depends on whether the user gets the full duration of the burst speed. At 90 recovery bonus, you can immediately burst again after the first one wears off. However, there are situations where the normal 1 minute burst gets cut short (states like dizzy, knockdown, running into water, etc). If you don't get the full 1 minute burst, higher bonus Parwan can "make up" for that lost time.

Out of curiousity, does anyone know whether the "burst run efficiency" skill in Scout and Ranger has any effect on recovery time, or does that only affect HAM cost? If it covers both time and cost, players with that skill could probably get the same instant burst effect with <90 bonus Parwan.

But at 21-22 filling you can get 6 burst runs in on an empty stomach... that's why I always saved most of my points for filling to give BHs that extra edge against FRing Jedi or whatever the situation may be. Using the best resources I could find and +47-48 filling addies I could always break 90 and cap the filling experimentation. What I was saying is now I can almost hit 100 and still have the lowest filling my resources will allow.

Im gonna log in and do some more testing with it... I'm a little suspicious of this stuff atm.

*later that day...*

Kay here's what I came up with. I dunno if it's just how i have my chat boxes set up, but regardless of the recovery bonus to my parwan, I never received any messages about getting tired or slowing down. Also, the burstrun icon in my toolbar never went through its usual cool-down animation as it does when you just type /bu or click on the skill. But when I used a parwan with a lower bonus, like -64 i think, I burstran as usual, slowed down after a minute and ate another. There was a message in my combat spam that said "you consume parwan; you instantly burstrun at increased efficiency." But I didn't... it worked just like it used to, it just doens't have any warning messages now about when you should be able to burstrun again.

I guess that's not a really important finding... just makes any parwan with a bonus under 90 completely useless since now you don't even know when you can run again. I thought it might have let you burstrun again immediately regardless of the bonus on the parwan since it wasn't working with the burstrun icon.
