Thread: Horn, you guys still need it?

I only ask because I just looted 84 horn with 984 oq off an ewok. I used to be a chef long long ago, and I thought I remembered horn being quite sought after. Anyone know if it is still worth anything post-CU?

I think you might be misremembering, no one's ever required horn (at least since launch, there may have been schematics in beta that used it). Milk used to be a big deal, back before they added the creature milking, maybe that's what you were thinking of?
Horn can be used as a "creature structural" or "organic" resource, but that's about it. There were people who were buying it up just for the novelty value, but that died down.

Last time I checked it is an armorsmith component for wookie armor.

It was for about 2 days on TC, it was changed rather quickly. The devs didn't even seem to know that horn was a loot-only resource lol.

And of course horn is now harvestable. Bone off of kashyyk banthas is horn. A few other kashyykian creatures have it as well. There is also an actual horn that is a loot object, but that is diff. from the resource container. Oh, and those bantha's drop fur as well--kinda pretty.
