I have been working with my harvestersfor thepast 3 daysand i have about 5k of all my ingredients i need.

They actually arent costing me that much because i can get 1.9k gnort missions in kaadara just 500 meters out from the mission terminal.

So i just run and get some missions then go fund the harvesters.

I suggest you do this because its so much easier and you usally save money rather than going to the bazaar.

It's not totally impossible to be chef, and only a chef. I don't have anything in the mixology branch, but I am barely ekeing out a living. I support 4 harvesters, a generator, a house and very soon a factory. I get some help from my PA in the form of a lot of free meat, but beyond that, I support everything I have with money I make as Chef. The only missions I ahve run are Rebel FedEx missions to get faction. 300hp pretty much means if I look at a durni the wrong way, I am toast.

Never trust a skinny chef.

Good advise, I from now on will get some destroy missions near my harvesters before I go to fuel them up

this game was supposed to be about interdependance. because they have implemented it so poorly its more about soloing than any game ive played. its very hard to sell food right? so as a result we are forced to raise our own capital to buy or maintain harvesters. since we are doing this we are spending way too much time hunting and too little time crafting.

what if i dont want to do combat at all? i could never survive as a chef without another players charity. i couldnt possibly sell enough food to maintain a harvester and or factory. so thus i am forced to take a combat role.

interdependance has failed
