Nope, Atleast I've never gotten XP from eating my own food that I've made. I do get XP when friends eat the food/drinks that I give them.

chef doesnt get uexp from anyone

I've gotten UXP for people eating or drinking something I made but the number of people doing that and the amount you get per sip/bite is so small it really doesn't matter.

I've also gotten Xp from other people when they eat/drink my food. Its not a lot but the numbers did change.

I've not gotten UXP from eating my own food. However, I've gotten UXP from people eating my food.

Also, I thought that the UXP from consumable items was suppose to be 150%. It really doesn't seem like I'm getting that. Though, I admit it's hard to tell.

Last night with K-18 rations I tried a little experiment with my creature handler buddy. I got 25 UXP with each stack of rations his critter ate and the same with those he ate. Those critters eat LOTS of food. This is general crafting exp (as I am only making things from the artisan domestic line at the moment). I don't know how it applies to the official Chef line foods. It is pretty decent for the casual player like myself that is low on resources.

There are more and more critters running around through towns these days...Get those handlers to buy your food and feed their critters while they are next to you!

UXP is broken of varying proportions from galaxy to galaxy, some get it all the time, some only get it half the time. I only get it when the person eats it immediatly in front of me. I do not receive it any other time.

I have been getting UXP. I have made very little domestic arts items since I made chef, but in the past week my general crafting experience has climbed 500pts.

I get 50% UXP. Works if I'm online, someone other than me eats it, it's not a pet eating it, and it's not factory food.
