You need to figure out what stats you need to raise to wear the armor. I'm sure there are some guides on this, or a good armorsmith can help you out. (I have a form letter from an armorsmith that I forward along as well to people who ask). Once you figure this out, tell the chef exactly what you need (i.e. +50 stamina +50 focus, etc.) and he can help you pick out the right items. Don't forget you fill up if you eat too much, so you might need a special order of food to get the right combination all at once.

You can use the food to help you put on the armor, and it will stay on even after the food wears off. However, if you take off the armor or die, you will need to eat more food to put it back on. Eventually you will want to migrate your stats to solve this problem permanently. Armor also kind of hurts your stats in general when you wear it, so eating well will be a good idea in general!

I keep a food vendor in a masterarmorshop (got in before they disabled vendor trading), and often someone will buy some armor, discover they can't wear it, and my email box immediately fills up with sales!

Yes, I was able to eat the right stuff and equip, im just not sure many people know that you can do that.

Heh your question sounded like a question on that.. realized it after but I thought it would be good for people to know this.

Last night I was hanging out in the armorshop. 10 people were surrounding the crafter going crazy trying to fill all their orders.A few arebeing very rude, like "I have a tuskan raid in 10 minutes hurry up!" So they finally get their armor and lo and behold they can't put it on. Someone says hey you can use food to wear it so they start buying random food off my vendor and gorging it. Then they're like "I still can't wear it and now it says I'm full, this is wrong!" So I explain you have to eat the RIGHT food and can they please tell me their stats. Then the armorsmith tells them about stat migration. So they go to their character sheet and migrate, and expect it to work immediately. They're like "it's not changing! it's bugged! gonna relog!" I explain that they need the food until their stats migrate, which will be a few days, can they tell me the stats. At this point they throw up their hands and said "That's too long! My raid is in 10 minutes!I want to sell my armor back!"

Now this armorsmith does very good business, and is very rich. But after that i was soooooo glad I didn't take up that profession!

I cant believe I actually had to hunt down and hire a chef to make me some food so I could eat it and some spice to put on my set of composite armor.

Do people know what you can eat food and spice to equip stuff you normally cannot?
