Every Chef knows our line is broken, it's obvious when only 5% of our entire menu is worth making or selling. My question to the Masters are, is it really worth it to grind all the way up to the top?
When I first started SWG I was set to be Master Chef, but after realizing our line being so broken I stopped grinding and became a Master Image Designer. I still want to get Master Chef, but I'd like some feedback from the current Masters on whether it's really worth it.
Thanks!

I hit master a couple of days ago (didnt rush but still a hell of a grind), and I'm glad I did.
OK, a number of items cannot be made due to bugs & lack of milk but the milk issue should be sorted soon, and there are a lot of issues, but I feel it's still a worthwhile profession.
The extra experimentation points at master mean some nice results on even basaic items, and more successes.
If you can afford the points, and can handle the Gwouch Grind, then go for it

I'm not a master chef yet, but I plan on being one eventually. I have Mixology IV, Cooking IV, and Entrees I. I hope that this doesn't make my opinion worthless.
I think you sound just a little drastic. I'm not saying that the chef profession is perfect, but I wouldn't say that it's not worth it. It's been quite fun for me thus far. With Cooking IV you can make some good drinks that people will buy. I have about 5 or 6 things that sell pretty well on the bazaar. Ice Blasters, Corellian Ale, Durindfire, Gralinyn Juice, Veronian Berry Wine, and of course Tatooine Sunburns all sell pretty well.
I've just opened up my own cantina yesterday. I haven't had any customers yet, but I'm sure I will. I've got some good responses from people that have bought my drinks off the bazaar.
Just have fun with it while we wait for some fixes. I believe there's plenty there that works until the stuff that doesn't does.
