Thread: Struggling on Ahazi
Hi, I'm the local Kibbles N' Bits maker for the Coronet area... I mean, chef.
"Crazy" Queeg Or'Chakk is the name, making pet food seems to be my game. Is it true that medium and large flora harvesters still don't exist?
ARE THE DEVS PURPOSELY TRYING TO DESTROY THEIR CHEFS?
I mean, I was excited to have a chef... and I won't abandon it... but are there any REAL plans to:
1) Put eggs and Milk in? I heard that you could scan for them, or get them from dens... but I've not seen it.
2) Fix our medium and heavy harvesters? Come on, all the other harvesters work. Dozens of master architects... one or two master chefs...???
3) Make something OTHER than Tatooine Sunburn worth selling? I like entrees. No one but rancors eat entrees.
4) Make SOMETHING give decent xp in the chef line. A friend and I started at the same time. He's a master architect. I've got entrees one, and some merchant skills.... uh.... what?
Oh well, I'm sure you've all heard this before, it's just my first time here.

Bio-eng's are worse?? Icky perhaps I should not bother with that line... I was thinking BE + Chef = better food ![]()
I feel your pain, all anyone wants is the Sunburns.... I've not built a med or hvy factory, but I plan to... are they busted?? :-/
I have a Pet and Player food hut on Naboo. I too have found that my pet food vendor cant keep her items stocked. I hand craft all pet food to achieve 9 stacks. Im only charging 60 credits, perhaps I should charge more for crafted foods? Any thoughts? Its sad that our chef line is reduced to "Kibble n' Bits" peddlers.

I am hand crafting Bofa Treats, 9 per stack... 3 organic and 8 cereal to make.
If I use the 4 cr. per unit rule I should charge 44 Credits (LOL)
I charge a bit more since they are stacks of 9 and heavily experimented to get that high.
Anyone else think I am shafting myself?

Many here are charging 4cred per resource.

Now people need to charge what they want to charge. Everyone's business is their own. But I just gotta express that I just don't get it. People look at the basic resources sold on the Bazaar. The average piece of crappola resource on the bazaar is selling for 4 - 6 credits per unit. Any type of quality resource is selling for 10 credits per unit.
Heck people this weekend I was doing some serious stewed gouch grinding. I needed TONS of organics, any cheap organic. I looked all over the galaxy for the cheapest crud I could find and I NEVER EVER paid less than 3 credits per resource and I mostly paid in the 5 credit per resrouces range.
If you are selling your food for 4 credits per resource, you are just wasting your time and energy. You could make a LOT more money for a LOT (did I mention a LOT) less effort by dumping your high quality resources on the bazaar or starting up a resource trading company. Now I totally get that some people are just into the roleplay thing, which is why I stated at the beginning you need to charge whatever is good for you.
But from the power gamers ROI perspective anything less than 10 credits per resources is too cheap.
And yes, I do sell my stuff for 10 credits per resource, whether its 'dog food' or a soufle. I do have some customers and I don't even make Tat Sunburn yet. /shrug.
