I think the devs had enuff time to nerf around now, i would really want to see an improvment to the gimped classes. I dont mind if they nerf class xyz, because class abc will be the new powerlevel class.

Im playing a chef for over a month now. Im gimped. Best thing i can make is Sunburn, giving me mostly GENERAL CRAFT XP. How insane is this ? And since i know, i allready can make the best chef buff ingame. Why should i go on ? Motivation = none. Motivation for my char = none. Motivation for SWG = none.

So ... since i know that chef (as other professions like squad leader or merchant) dont need upgrades but whole redisgns (best buff cant be 2 skillboxes away in the tree) i except it to take time.

But as i wait and wait, our SirVimes does a really great job ..... and i get NO feedback ?

Hello, what are correspondents good for if theres no feedback ?

A "currently worked on" is good for 1-2 weeks. But we don't even get that.

How should we know which issues to post next week if we dont know whats up with the last post ?

Patience, young grasshopper. We will be getting the information soon. Q has been in touch with to apologize for this taking so long, and I am sure we will get something as soon as Q is able to send it off.

caithleen: SirVimes has done a great job so far.

The only contact he actually has with the Devs AFAIK is one e-mail a week, and afaik, he's only gotten a single generic response so far, so please dont complain about him.

If you'd read all the threads he's started to find the issues, and the mails he's sent or is going to send for the second correspondent report you'd know whats going on here. You cant just waltz in and start complaining about our correspondent when the problems are beyond his power and when he's done the best job possible so far in trying to keep all party's happy

i love sir vimes.

he does what we, as players need to do. If even that. I dont think we need to tell the devs whats wrong with our profession. everyone giving us 10 minutes of times does realize whats wrong.

I still dont have ANY feedback from the devs that this profession will be fixed. will it be taken out of game since its not productive ?

we get no feedback and on the devs todo list we arent mentioned. as the others.

The problems with our profession are a lot more complex than they seem. It looks like "Buffs broken. Simple solution, raise buff stats", while in reality its a series of serious bugs that affect the quality of the buffs. It's taken me weeks to work some of them out, and based on what a lot of people here are saying, it doesn't seem like many people are aware of them. One of these bugs, and possibly the biggest one,is one that we share with many other professions, but the devs may not be aware of it(or if they are, its very hard to fix). The problem the devs are having is misinformation, and thats why the correspondent job is in place.

Too many people in beta were just considerring it free playtime. They were meant to be researching bugs, and the reason some of the deeper issues got through was because the beta testers were being lazy **edit**s and not doing what they were supposed to(I'm guilty of this too... I only really sent in /bug's when it directly affected me)
