I've read various reports from people saying that experimentation on these items has no overall effect on the final product, so I conducted a test on Ormacheck :

Before Experimentation as Master
Ormacheck using unexperimented dough - +53Mind Focus Willpower, 118s
Ormacheck using experimented dough - +63Mind Focus Willpower, 125s

After Experimentation as Master
+98/173sec experimented using unexperimented dough
+105/217s using experimented dough

All items were made using the same ingredients. The unexperimented dough Ormacheck was all Amazing/Great successes, the second one, using experimented dough was mainly moderate/good - no Amazing's

Repeated several times, and I get consistant results on the dough ~19% increase on the buff, ~25% increase on base duration.

yep, experimenting the standard components does make a difference. The problem comes in when using identical factory made components, or when using "non-standard" components(like starshine surprise for sunburn, and veghash for vegeparsine).

I always experiment my nutrition to max on my dough and other stuff, followed by duration with whats left. I only factory produce the components that are all great's in experimentation to give the best results.

Aye, experimented edibles make no difference in the end, which is yet another nail in the coffin for chefs
