Thread: Plan to get chefs more attention...
1) Everyone make a post on the SWG discussion boards...make more than 1, and if they "detect" that your making too many threads, all the better someone at SOE will be forced to sit down and delete them all...and possibly even read 1 or 2.
2) Report every thread/message regarding chefs as possible abuse to a moderator...maybe one of them will read it, and after getting disgusted at having to read them all, get one of the devs to do something.
3) Constantly make almond krevvu munchies in game...no factory runs, so that they'll take up more space, and give them all unique names. When SOE does a database query to see whats starting to eat up soooo much space...they'll be forced to address the chef community directly.
4) Run around in game typing /report every 5 seconds, after saying fix chefs...the way this feature is supposed to work...one of the CSR's is supposed to have to look through the last few lines of chat as well as a few other things, and even if they come after you with a warning...they will once again have had to read it.
5) Call the SOE hotline, they have a phone number which is supposedly not for in game matters...but hey when the devs ignore/neglect/lie to a community of players in one particular profession...that should qualify as non-ingame abuse.
6) For those who are really really really pissed...swear in all your posts with the additional message of fix chefs, if they plan to bust you...they'll have to read your message first.
I posted very many times...got banned for it.. they still have not fixed it.
they never will

I seriously would advise against harrassing measures to get attention. If you really want to make a statement, push cancel. The best way to get your point across is to take your money to a company whocares, and will listen. When people ask if you if SWG is worth it, tell them your experiences with this. Customers talk to other potential customers all the time. If there's someone who might be on the fence, tell them how the developers ignored entire classes. However, harassment by making several posts, profanity, attempting to creating database problems, misusing phone lines, and bogging down the CSR's with /reports are counter-productive.
I do believe there is a hotline that you can call for in game matters, although I am not 100% sure.
Though Im not sure it was the mild expletive or calling the entire dev team a bunch of untrained chimp
I posted a semi-sarcastic post on the SWG discussion board about our woes. I couched it in the context of all the would-beJedi that have been directed toward our profession. If you areinterested, here's the link: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Development&message.id=750048&highlight
I feel that our only real hope is toget Thunderheart to read it(or one like it) and forward ourissuesto the developers. I know that SirVimes has doneyeoman's work as our correspondant, but evidently they don't pay him much heed.Perhaps they'll listen to T'heart.
